There is a change now to the chat room. Due to issues that kept arising with the XAT program, I have purchased the license right and started an addon chat room. This gives us a lot more control to the chat and a lot less hassle, people getting dropped and the crazies finding us like the XAT was. This chat operates as a Java Platform, which most people have on their computer anyways and if not, it is a free download. You will see a log-in box on the main index page now, all you have to do is enter in you CALL SIGN AND NAME, same requirement as the XAT room was, and then create a password for yourself. That is it. If anyone has any issues with the chat room, please PM me and I will see what I can do to correct it. Just like the other chat, it is busier in there in the evenings US time then the day time. But all are welcome to use it at anytime. I have the option of adding other "Rooms" to the chat if the users think it is necessary and will do that if needed. As with the XAT chat, this will start being embedded on several of our other sites, it is already on 7 or 8 sites as of now. Hopefully will be adding more as times goes.

We have made it into another year. I hope in 2011 we have better conditions, and more activity here on this site and on the radio than we have in the past. I hope new radio operators join us in this wonderful hobby. If you know of a new comer, then please let them know about this wonderful site. Again, Happy New Year!
2 Year Birthday!

Last week on August 8th, this site passed its two year birthday. I would like to thank everyone who has hung out with us in the last two years, and also all the new members who are now just joining. Thanks for making this site what it is. Keep up the good work, and keep passing the word out there about us.
